I’m Racquel Housen, a passionate Certified Nutrition Specialist with a background in public health and a master’s degree in functional medicine nutrition. I support women and families through pregnancy, postpartum, and the early years of babyhood with personalized, evidence-based nutrition care.

My work centers on helping moms feel nourished, confident, and supported during some of the most transformative seasons of their lives. I provide holistic, personalized nutrition consultations that support: Pregnancy wellness Postpartum recovery + nourishment Starting solids with confidence Baby eczema, food sensitivity plans Chronic condition support for moms Comprehensive adult wellness plans Every plan is tailored, compassionate, and rooted in both science and lived experience.

My passion was born in my own motherhood journey.After a traumatic C-section in 2013, I felt firsthand how gaps in education, support, and equitable care disproportionately affect women of color. With more knowledge, a supportive doula, and childbirth education, I went on to have a healing, empowering VBAC in 2022 — an experience that transformed me. It made me realize: Moms deserve support. They deserve options. They deserve evidence-based guidance that honors their lived experiences. And most importantly no woman should feel alone or unheard on her path to healing.This is why I show up for other mothers the way I wish someone had shown up for me.
