Arise Birth

Hi, I’m Arielle Korn, CD(DONA), founder of Arise Birth. I am a DONA Certified Birth Doula, postpartum doula, therapist, and educator, and I have been supporting growing families since 2013.

I created Arise Birth because I believe every family deserves to feel heard, respected, informed, and genuinely supported throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum transition. My role is to provide a calm, knowledgeable, and compassionate presence while helping you navigate your experience in a way that feels right for you and your family.

Over the years, I have supported families through births in hospitals, birth centers, and home settings, including unmedicated births, epidural births, inductions, cesarean births, and unexpected changes in birth plans. I provide prenatal education and preparation, birth planning, labor positioning and comfort techniques, partner support, advocacy and informed decision-making, lactation and infant-feeding support, postpartum care, overnight newborn care, and support for families welcoming twins.

My professional background as a therapist and educator deeply influences the way I practice. I understand that pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are not only physical experiences—they can also be incredibly emotional and transformative. I strive to create a space where my clients feel comfortable asking questions, expressing fears, exploring their options, and making decisions without judgment or pressure.

I don’t believe there is one “right” way to give birth or parent. My goal is never to make decisions for you, but rather to provide evidence-informed, unbiased information, help you understand your options, and support the choices that feel right for you. Whether your birth unfolds exactly as you envisioned or takes an unexpected path, I will meet you where you are and continue supporting you every step of the way.
