About Me
In 2009, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Dance Performance from Oakland University and a Master’s degree in Dance Education from New York University in 2017. In my coursework for both degrees, the study of human anatomy was imperative. I believe that labor positions are to labor what choreography is to dance; allowing your body to push through discomfort and rhythmically guide baby through the birth canal.
I am passionate about the health and safety of Mamas and their babies, believing that being informed can help save lives. As your birth doula, my highest priority is to help you have a safe labor and delivery. I provide emotional and physical support, and thoughtful guidance during labor and delivery to you and your partner (if applicable) to make informed decisions and efficiently communicate with your chosen care providers.
As your placenta encapsulator, my goal is to help you with postpartum healing. Recovering from birth and taking care of a newborn can take a tole on you mentally and physically. I believe our placentas were made for taking care of baby until earth side and helping us to recover after. Consuming your placenta has so many benefits!
