Renacer Postpartum Care

Renacer Postpartum Care (reh-nah-sehr) is devoted to nurturing families through the profound journey of transformation that is the postpartum period. Not only does a new baby enter the world, but a woman is also reborn- evolving from maiden to mother. I honor this transformation by creating a nurturing environment where mothers feel nourished and the whole family feels held and empowered in their new roles and identities.

My services include:

~ Nourishing meals: nutrient dense and delicious meals to support healing and recovery. ~Emotional support: non-judgmental compassionate presence to listen, validate, and provide encouragement. ~Lactation counseling: helpful advice and suggestions ~Sibling care: helping older siblings adjust to the new family dynamic. ~Household assistance: dishes, laundry, anything that allows you to focus on resting, healing, and bonding with baby. ~Education: based in physiologic understandings regarding newborn sleep, eating, development, etc ~Newborn care: assistance with changing, soothing, feeding, bathing, baby wearing, etc ~Connection to resources: local referrals to specialists (lactation consultants, therapists, body workers) and connections to parent groups, classes, and workshops

I truly believe there is nothing more valuable than caring for the mamas and babes of the world and so passionate about the generational impact this work can have. It is an honor to be with families through this sacred, complex, beautifully challenging time.
