Calma Counseling

I’m Yaranil, a latina therapist in NJ specializing in perinatal mental health. My own experience as a new mom has helped me really lean into the work I do. I understand that being a mom is incredibly beautiful and rewarding but it can also be challenging. I provide therapy for expectant and new moms who are struggling with the transition to motherhood, experiencing changes in mood, and/or have experienced traumatic births, infertility, and loss. Self-compassion and cultural humility are at the core of what I do.
