Stay Gold Birth

Hi, I’m Katy, a DONA trained birth and postpartum doula with a passion for supporting families through their birthing journey. I am deeply committed to reproductive rights and racial and gender equity, which are central to my work and advocacy. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care with a touch of magic and good humor. I subscribe to the philosophy of "holding the family so they can hold the baby", which means I am dedicated to providing the support and care that empowers families to fully embrace this new, transformative chapter of their lives. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from California State University Los Angeles and I am working towards pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Portland State University, with a focus on perinatal health. Originally from the Bay Area, I enjoy spending my free time exploring the arts through theatre, hiking in nature, watching goofy TV shows, and making memories with my partner and two wonderful children.
