You just had a baby! What a wonderful, marvelous, and life-changing experience! A postpartum doula will offer guidance, support and information to start you off on your parenthood journey with confidence. Postpartum Support includes: One prenatal visit of 1-2 hours to discuss your potential postpartum needs. Availability by text inbetween visits for questions about the postpartum period, breastfeeding & baby Non-medical physical and emotional support Breast/chestfeeding support Helping you prioitize your postpartum healing A listening ear as you process your birth and ease into parenting Assistance with infant care, feeding, soothing and coping skills for new parents Assistance with adjusting to new family roles, supervising other children Household organization support: light meals, running brief errands, laundry, tidying and dish-washing Referrals and resources to support groups, caregivers, etc.​​ ​Each visit is 4 hours and can be scheduled between 7am to 9pm, your doula maintains flexibility in their schedule to best accomodate the changing needs of your familiy.

​You will have the opportunity to meet with Jessica free of charge, to chat, and ask any questions you may have to insure you make a good team. In-Person Birth Doula Services include: Free Consultation At least 2 prenatal visits, at your location, to get to know each other. Guidance, support and education in preparing for your baby's birth. Positions and tools to ease discomfort and help labor progress. Review of medical interventions, options, risks and benefits. Help writing a simple birth plan (if interested). Discount on childbirth classes and placenta encapsulation. Unlimited support by phone, text or email upon hire. On-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, starting at 38 weeks until birth. Continuous support during your labor until birth. Immediate postpartum support. Assistance with establishing breast/chestfeeding. At least 1 postpartum home visit.

Prenatal Breast/Chestfeeding Counseling Are you expecting and have some questions or concerns? Wondering if your concerns could cause issues? In Prenatal Counseling we will spend 45-60 minutes talking about your concerns and addressing them. You will be equip with the knowledge to know when things are ok and when you may need a little more support. You will leave feeling prepared for your journey and with resources to help you with any issues that may arise. Prenatal Counseling Session $75 Postpartum Breast/Chestfeeding Counseling Are you having nipple or breast pain? Have been told you need to supplement your baby for any reason? Has your baby has lost more then 10% of her birth weight or isn't back to his/her birth weight by day 10? Is everyone giving you different information, rules or instructions? The #1 reason many decide to stop breastfeeding is that they think they do not have enough milk. Most can make plenty of milk with good breastfeeding management or the right interventions. Phone or email follow-up included. ​Postpartum Counseling Session $120 ​(Up to 2 hours) ​PUMP & BACK TO WORK CONSULTATION Pump Consultation Going back to work? Have you been pumping for a while and now your pump doesn't seem to perform as it used to? We’ll talk about the replaceable parts on your pump and troubleshoot concerns. We will also check the flanges to be sure you have the proper size for your body. When we’re all done you’ll know all you need to about your pump. A typical Pump Consultation takes 45 minutes to 1 hour and we will take place in the comfort of your own home. Pump Consultation $75 Back to Work Consultation Is breast/chestfeeding is going well, and now you have to go back to work? Pumping, milk storage, choosing bottles for your baby. Overwhelming! Let's make the process less confusing. We will chat about your pump and make sure it is right for you, we can go over milk storage guidelines and figure out a plan for storing your milk for your baby, and we’ll talk about good bottle feeding techniques and how to help educate those who will be caring for and feeding your baby. This visit lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour and takes place in your home. ​ Back to Work Consultation $75
