Small and Sacred Doula

Hello! I’m Teresa, a certified birth and postpartum doula, educator, wife, and mother of two. Supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum transition is more than my profession—it’s a calling that was born from my own experiences becoming a mother.

My journey into doula work began after the births of my children. While welcoming my babies into the world was one of the greatest joys of my life, I also experienced the challenges that can accompany the transition to motherhood, including postpartum depression. During that season, I learned firsthand how transformative compassionate, knowledgeable support can be. The care I received from my own birth professionals helped me feel seen, empowered, and capable during a vulnerable time, and it inspired me to provide that same level of support for other families.
