Rhythm and Surrender LLC

Hi! I am a DONA-certified birth doula serving the Greater Los Angeles area. I offer education, birth planning, and preparation in the weeks and months leading up to your birth. I provide continuous, hands-on support during labor and teach your birth companion how to do the same. All of my packages include at least one postpartum visit as well.

I meet with you and anyone else you'd like to include (for example, a partner or other birth companion) two to five times leading up to your birth. My prenatals are tailored to your needs and typically include comprehensive birth planning, childbirth education, comfort measures to use during labor, movement to help prepare the body for labor, and processing emotions about birth. If you're interested in hypnobirthing education, I offer that as well.

In addition to being a birth doula, I am an MSW with seven years of experience teaching psychology and sociology. I am also an EMT. This unique background gives me the ability to help you navigate medical settings, to advocate effectively for your birth preferences, and to make sure you know the right questions to ask.
