As a postpartum doula, I provide families with nurturing, research based care and guidance on how to navigate various aspects of the fourth trimester. That said, my services include, but are not limited to, non-medical after birth care, how to care for the new, sweet baby/ies, lactation support, and giving resources/direction for connecting with specialists. Additionally, I offer families compassionate care in other ways, too, such as running errands, completing light household chores, and cooking meals. While I specialize in anti-inflammatory meals due to my own dietary needs, and while anti-inflammatory foods are a great holistic tool to help the birthing parent's body recover, I am more than happy to discuss some of your favorite foods, too! By providing parents with the aforementioned care and services, a postpartum doula can help families feel more satisfied about their postpartum experience, which allows the parents to focus their energy on resting, healing, and bonding. As a mother myself who gave birth to my sweet girl in 2020, I understand firsthand how important it is to have a support system during this time of transition. As your dedicated postpartum doula, I am here to support you so that you can feel alleviated to focus on your self-care, caring for your new baby, bonding with your older children if applicable, and even finding time to connect with your partner, friends and/or extended family.
