At Oxomohco, our mission is to provide specialized, culturally rooted massage for women who are pregnant, trying to conceive, or navigating postpartum—regardless of birth outcome. We are dedicated to educating and supporting families as they prepare for birth, focusing on embodied consent and informed advocacy to prevent unnecessary interventions. Through personalized care rooted in Mexican Traditional Medicine, we address the physical, emotional, and energetic needs of each client. We value supporting BIPOC and migrant families who may be growing their families away from their own communities, offering compassionate, community-centered care to ensure that parenting is never experienced alone. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We envision Oxomohco as a trusted hub where families feel empowered, supported, and connected, no matter where they are in their journey. We strive to cultivate a sense of community for our clients, knowing that they can turn to Oxomohco for nurturing, resources, and reliable support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I founded Oxomohco after witnessing the challenges my older sisters faced during pregnancy, birth, and loss, often without the support and knowledge they deserved. My inspiration comes from imagining the care I would want for myself and reflecting on the experiences of my grandmothers, who birthed with strength and autonomy in a supportive community back on the ranches in Mexico. At Oxomohco, we aim to revive and honor these traditions, empowering families to embrace cultural wisdom in their birthing journey while accessing modern resources when needed.
