Our Story
BirthBridge exists because we lived through the problem ourselves.
We both went through it with our own families, and we both hit the same wall. The people who could help were out there. Finding them was another thing entirely.
Everything was separated. A doula on one site, a lactation consultant on another, a name passed around a Facebook group, a recommendation from a friend of a friend. Every time we needed someone new, the search started over.
It was difficult and it was stressful, in a stretch of life when stress is the last thing you want.
Meanwhile the professionals had the mirror-image problem, building entire practices on word of mouth.
Two groups looking for each other, with no good place to meet.
So we built one. Families can look through real profiles and message someone directly when they are ready. And because every professional we spoke to said some version of “I already have people I trust,” we added Care Circles: if you trust your doula, you can see who your doula trusts.
We are not birth professionals, which is why we lean on the ones who work alongside us. Their feedback has changed how this works more times than we can count, and it still does.
The Team

Jeffrey & Nathaniel
Founders
Best friends since first grade. We have built software together for years, but this one became personal. We may have started BirthBridge, but it is shaped every day by the birth professionals who use it.

Sarah
Prenatal Registered Dietitian
Sarah works with families directly, which makes her the person who tells us when something we have built does not match how care actually works. That has changed our plans more than once.
