About Let's Do You Doula
After my son's birth, I was reeling from how incredible my birth journey was. I heard so many horror stories from friends and family about how their birthing days went. I was appalled for them. Most were pushed around by hospital staff, forced into unnecessary c-sections or just completely unaware of what options they had! I became determined to be an advocate for women who want to feel validated and that they can birth the way they choose. I wanted to be able to provide a beautiful experience, to anyone who desired it.
Having my son empowered me to help other women have the birth of their dreams. I strive for a smooth, calm process, free from stress, judgement and fear. Whether it be at home, a birth center or hospital, all natural, medicated or planned c-sections, I believe that women should be able to do things their own way. Because each and every woman, birth and baby is different, I take pride in supporting you, however you choose to proceed. Hospitals can get confusing, nurses/OB's can get impatient, let me be your advocate through this journey. Let me help you, do you. Let's birth the way that you want.

Professional birth support in Newport Beach, California
Birth Doula
● 1-2 prenatal appointments to discuss birth preferences, positions for comfort, your emotional wellbeing, exercises to prepare your body for birth, relationship concerns and hard truths ● Peace of Mind car seat installation ● Materials and tools for birth; TENS unit, birth/peanut balls, baby carriers, books, and more ● Phone, text, video and email support from the date of hire through first six weeks after birth ● On-call availability starting from 38 weeks until baby's arrival ● Support in choosing when is the right time for you to go to the birth center or hospital so you can labour at home as long as comfortably possible ● Unlimited hands-on physical, emotional, and informational support during your birthing time for both you and your partner ● Advocacy should we have to veer away from your plan ● Immediate post-partum support, including breastfeeding education, belly binding, food and hydration ● 1 In-home post-partum visit within the first 10 days to check on you, your baby, and your family ● Access to a backup doula if I'm not able to attend the birth for some reason
