Labour of Love Doula Services

Hello! I’m Nicole, a Birth and Postpartum Doula based in Calgary, Alberta.

My motto is simple: Your body. Your baby. YOUR choice. Period. Every human deserves full autonomy over their body—and my role as a doula is to walk beside you through life’s beginnings, endings, and everything in between. Alongside birth and postpartum care, I also serve as an End-of-Life Doula and am expanding my training in infertility, pregnancy, and infant loss support.

In addition to being obsessed with babies—just call me the baby whisperer—I’m an animal lover, nature enthusiast, and strong advocate for “bringing back the village.” My practice is rooted in respect for all identities and lived experiences, with a focus on creating compassionate spaces where every voice is celebrated.

Supporting families through birth and postpartum is both an honour and a calling I hold close to my heart. Through my own journey of learning how to advocate for myself and navigate our healthcare system, I understand how vital it is to feel heard and respected. My goal is to help give people their voice back—offering unbiased, non-judgmental support, evidence-based information, and personalized care, from prenatal visits and continuous labour support to postpartum guidance and community referrals.

I’m especially passionate about serving underserved communities, advocating for inclusive, equitable care, and supporting those who’ve felt dismissed or unheard in healthcare settings.

Outside of doula work, I enjoy hiking, camping, cooking, travelling, and going on adventures with my partner and our dog.

I firmly believe everyone deserves compassionate support, which is why I offer a sliding scale for my services—making doula care accessible to all families.
