Hi, I’m Lauren Spencer—labor support doula and childbirth educator and owner of Beloved Births KC LLC. As a follower of Christ and avid birth nerd, I feel truly blessed to connect with families during one of life’s most transformative experiences.

With a background in education and five years of full-time teaching, my passion for birth began during my first pregnancy. Experiencing the miracle of childbirth firsthand ignited a deep calling within me. After the birth of my youngest, I knew my heart belonged to supporting families on their own journeys. That’s when I stepped away from teaching full time, became a certified doula, and founded Beloved Births KC.

It’s an honor to walk alongside families, offering guidance, encouragement, education, and unwavering support through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
