As your birth doula I will support you all throughout pregnancy. This includes pregnancy and childbirth prep education via phone, text, and email, as well as 1 three hour in person prep time together. We will prepare your birth plan and go over all the things you need to know to feel informed and ready for your big day. I will be with you in person during your labor starting when you reach active labor and through your deliver. I will support you during labor through a variety of birthing techniques and pain relief techniques that we will discuss during our prenatal. After your baby is born I will stay for about an hour to help with breastfeeding and anything else you need. I will check in with you a few days after delivery for additional support and breastfeeding help if needed including an in person visit.

As your postpartum doula, you can choose days or nights for support. My goal is to support you as you transition into parenthood in any way that fits your needs. I am happy to help with taking care of baby, teaching infant care, washing baby clothes, bottles, baby, Breastfeeding support and help. If it is at night, I can care for baby while you sleep, If you are breastfeeding I will bring baby to you to feed and then care for baby so you can rest. All of the things for postpartum care are based on your needs and flexible.

I will come to you for breastfeeding help and support. Sometimes breastfeeding is challenging and sometimes you just need a little help with positioning or latching. I will do a weighted feed so we can see how much baby is getting. I will offer advice and suggestions to make your experience the best it can be.
